That Day

the one I met u
I was so happy
to finally see u.
We had talked everyday
and all through the night.
And when u stepped off that plane
i was filled with joy and fright.
Joy 2 finally kiss you,
fright u might push me away.
But now i know better,
that u will luv me anyday.
It was foolish of me
2 keep pretending
and acting
and spending
my time thinkin
u would hate the real me.
But now i am older
and wiser too.
And i can truely say the three words........
i luv u |

This is my first poem so plz be gentle. I wrote this about my bf who broke up with me the next day and didnt read it until after the breakup....he feels guilty. and yes i know the words "you" and "you" dont rhyme but i couldnt think!!.....Plz comment!!!
