Your perfect drug

And i know that its troubling you
Its midnight,you cant sleep
Youve got nothing to do
All you have to do is say my name and i'll be there
Youve become all withdrawn and sad
Writing about how much you want to die
You say you are fine,that im wasting my time
But i know you just need a shoulder on which to cry
I'll be your angel,I'll be the star in your sky,I'll be your best friend,im the world when im high
Just one taste of me and you'll be hooked
All your problems will fade away
Lets turn the page and start over new
Tomorrow is a new day
He lives inside your troubled mind
He tells you awful things to say
And when he has control of your thoughts
He makes it all go away
Oh yeah this is what i am
Im sorry i cant be a better me
All i am is your perfect drug
Im sorry that i cannot be
Something aches deep inside you
Your haunted by this secret you keep
Its midnight and he's already gone
The water is rising and your in too deep
I know you need to let it out,thats why im waiting here for you
What you hate is what i am
But i know you love me
I am your perfect drug
And that is all i'll ever be
The ants have eaten the sugar
The apples rotting in your eyes
I'll be your angel,I'll be your saviour
I'll be the one to answer your cries
All your wishes have been forgotten,all your nightmares have come true,but just remember that im here,and tomorrow is the day to start over new
I am your everything
I am the drug brought here from hell
I know you want me
I know you have secrets to tell
Fuck the world
Who cares if we die
I am your perfect drug
Now lets get high
Everything just fades
Its all gone just faded away
Remember that im always here
And tomorrow is the perfect day |
