Her Comfort

Stained with tears
She sees him and goes towards him
Like a magnetic pull
They’re drawn together
She doesn’t tell him why
She just needs him
She loves him
And doesn’t want to lose him
She’s afraid of the looks he throws
And the smile he gives another
She’d be lost without him
She wants to stay here forever
Locked in his warm embrace
She realizes that things may not be the same tomorrow
So she’ll take what she can today |
