» Poem: bleeding doesnt hurt, being alone does |
bleeding doesnt hurt, being alone does
written by Poison Ivy01:39 AM 1/24/05standing in the rain
with nothing but the cold to hold me down
aching of the heart
waiting to heal
from these memories of nothing I want
I crawled on the sharp rocks
and my hands and knees and thrashed
the blood doesn’t bother me
but being alone does
I needed you without knowing it
show me the way to recovery
teach me how to stand again
down this endless streets
where people like me stay
dinning with the dogs in the alleys
I called this my home
until you happened
you’re the missing piece of me
one of many others
scattered and found
all because of you
all I need is you
but I cant do this by myself
pain doesn’t bother me
but being without you does. . . |
