Razorblade Land

From this awful place.
Wipe away my tears
From my bruised face
Tell me that
It did not come true
Tell me that
I still have you
And hold me close
We’ll fly away
To a brand new place
In which we’ll stay
And in that moment
The beads of crimson betrayal
Stop and reveal the ugly mark
The pain,lift up the veil
And make me yours
Sweet bloody razor blade
Cut my skin make it all go away
My sweet painkiller, my parents forbade
And take me away
And hold my hand
Take me to this bloody place
Of razorblade land
Where the sky is red
And the tears are too
And,my sweet razorblade,
I can forever be with you
In this wonderful moment
Where I have nothing left to say
When you hold my arm
You make the pain go away
And if its gone
Then we’ll know its time
Lets spread our wings
Like razorblade birdies divine
And make me smile
And joyfully laugh
And push back those thoughts
Forget the polygraph
Make it all go away
Just by meeting my patient flesh
Let me choke on the forbidden words
Ive been waiting to confess
It is all in the past
At razorblade land
Lets fly away
Please hold my hand
Where the sky is red
And the tears are too
And forever, happily
I can be with you. |
