I rose falls before her bare feet,
Angels cries at her door,
Lingering truth behind the window of new,
Stepping into something new,
I wish I could have saved her,
Given her my hand,
Her pale skin dress flutters in the wind,
Past dark shadows,
Her face is amongst us all,
Where not angels when we die,
Where left unheard,
The words we speak are for nothing,
Tears fall on a single sheet of paper,
I can’t seem to see what it reads,
Last breath I will write down her life,
She will not be forgotten,
The light has fallen from her eyes,
It becomes dim as steps on the edge,
Looking down,
One more step forward,
Lets go,
Falling past you,
Your blinded and you can’t see,
Face smashed on pavement floor,
This is her work of art,
This she is giving to you. |
