» Poem: Love Lasts forever
Love Lasts forever
written by Suicidal_Angel_2010

She touches her frostbitten cheek,
And sighs with depression,
She wants him to come back,
But she knows he never will.

She sits on the snow-covered bench,
Where she last saw his face,
She closes her eyes,
And foresees his image,
But she knows she will never see him again.

She sees her breath,
She begins to shiver,
But not from the cold,
But from the thought of being alone.

She begins to cry,
But her tears freeze from the cold,
She attempts to wipe them off,
But she doesn’t contain the strength.

She walks through the park,
Which was once a sign of love,
But is now a place of remembrance and fear.
The one she once loved so much,
Has now gone away,
She doesn’t know what to do,
But she wants to just hide away.

She glances at a dieing rose,
And links it to her life,
Because she herself,
Feels black and dead inside.

She hears a familiar voice,
And thoughts come tracing back,
She brushes off the thought,
Because she knows it’s just her mind,
But she feels a loving touch on her shoulder,
And wishes her mind would stop,
But someone turns her around,
And she sees his caring face.

He apologizes for being wrong,
She apologizes for being so insecure and un-thoughtful,
All seems well and all is forgotten,
She then sits at the familiar bench,
Which is now dripping from melting snow.

She wipes it off and waits for him,
He sits down and they talk,
Moments later in the distance,
You can spy a laughing couple,
Whom are in love so very much,

Months later the entire city gathers,
At just one church,
White in so many ways,
Is surrounding the chapel,
And love is in the air.

No one remembers the fighting,
Just a few months ago,
All is forgotten,
And the hate is now lost,

The couple’s lives,
Were surrounded by love and care,
Each day was heaven,
Until they died,
And even in death,
They were happy together,
For the man and the woman,
Who were so much in love,
Both died the same night,
Peacefully in their sleep.

And you just remember,
True love lasts forever.
And nothing can stop it.

It is absolutely amazing. The first few sections really applied to me... I actually cried. Though, I hope somehow the rest of it happens. I hope love lasts forever, my friend. Later. |In the Darkness Forever| *~*~*Samwise*~*~*
