Terror of the Night

I lay here half awake
Conscious of another presence in the room
You walk towards me
But somehow
I am unafraid
I know what you are going to do
It was only expected
Some may say I manipulated you into it
Others would disagree
You were always there
You saw my pain
You saw my worry
You tried to get me to focus on something else
Instead of you
But that wasn’t possible
Because you were all that mattered
But now we are here
In the present time
Faced with a decision
I feel I need to leave it up to you
Don’t ask why
It is only a feeling
But here are your options…
You can go on traveling your world alone
Or take me with you
(Please oh please…)
And we can cause terror together
Just like we always did
But now
We are indestructible |
