» Poem: Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love

Together we ran,
Faster than we ever did,
Running from what seemed to damn,
With tears in our eyes, we bid.

Farewell to that accursed lie,
They told us what we had could never be,
Angels and demons, they sigh,
But only we'll know, we ask why they can't see.

Heaven and Hell unite to stop us,
From seeing eachother again, to stop this,
Succeeding, knowing that this is an absolute must,
All I wanted, was just one more kiss.

Counting the days before I go insane,
I can't take this pain away from her,
What we did was there bane,
But now all of it has faded into a murmur.

A war has been started, Heaven and Hell fight,
Longing for you from the depths of Hell,
Wondering why they cannot see the light,
Of our love that was considered fell.

I can no longer take this agony anymore,
Fighting my way out of the prison,
Knowing without you, my life is no more,
No longer can I go back to what I have done.

We hold eachother after my long voyage,
I've travelled the highest mountains,
The darkest caves, testing my courage,
You kissed me, regaining once that has been.

An Angel and a Demon,
We created our own Romeo and Juliet,
Until we've made a new day's dawn,
We'll always know what we have set,

Forever more, a true forbidden love,
They now realize what they did,
What we have is as pure as the white dove,
No more tears, closing my eyelid.

Flying away with my only love, her.

I loved the poem, is seems as if it like a Romeo and Juliet play or something. I can relate to it so much. Great poem, keep writing.
