» Poem: Drusilla and the Soldiers
Drusilla and the Soldiers
written by Drusilla
04:16 PM 1/26/05
Ten little soldiers all in a line
One was a French man stinking of wine
The second was inbred and too dumb to stay in line
The third was an old man going back home
The fourth was ugly and as short as a gnome
The fifth was as handsome as the stars in the sky
The sixth spoke Spanish but Miss Edith didn't like hi
The seventh was very rude and not at all pleasant
The eight reminded me too much of my dark prince
The ninth was too plump, but a nice young man
The tenth ws the best out of them all and tasted of leaves in the fall
He was yummy and made my tummy less hungry
No one even heard him scream
It wasn't until the train hit the wall and the bang rang out that the soldiers did fall
