My Walk Alone

The air was cold and black
Every star held bright and true
Against it's midnight back
The moon hung low above the trees
As silent as a ghost
I sat there in the fields
As frigid as a post
This night was so gorgeous
My mind began to wonder
As I sit here and ponder the way that I was
To have an open heart
To sing a song of love
It will never be as such
I know that I'm trapped in darkness
I'm trapped inside this hell
I know that my body
is just an empty shell
It's eternally to never see a life
Now trapped inside my mind
I remember the days
In which I used to laugh
Now I feel my life's been severed
I'm missing my better half
Though I have no tears to cry do to
My love has all but been dried from my soul
As my wrists bleed the heartache still remains
Though thoughts about this place
It wished to share with someone
nature's purest face
Around me there was not a soul
No heart to make a sound
I knew I was all alone
When I began to look around
Then my heart felt empty
The space between the stars
I knew the night was long
Though I could not heal my scars
I began to walking
Back into the night
I knew that I would need someone
To help me win this fight
So now I must leave this scene
With my heart still not healed
Though my wrists still bleed as
I disappear within this page..... |
