» Poem: Diary
Diary
written by bloodlyvalentine

I am plain and white. I hold no words
But the ones you give me.
I am whatever you make me.
I reflect the words you write.
Most of the time I lie under your pillow,
My pages waiting to be filled with your thoughts.
I have waited so long; I am starting to get lonely.
I am part of you; I am your mind,
The unspoken words of your soul.

Now I am a maze. A woman runs through me,
Trying to find the right path.
But she loses herself in those flowers, those deathly beautiful flowers.
I feel her pain as she writes hastily.
In anger, she rips my pages with her black knife,
Her tears staining my skin.
She needs me. every night Her pain pours onto my pages.
Through me she has found the right path,
She has found herself, like a child returning home.
