» Poem: Damn Writer's Block
Damn Writer's Block
written by Foiazzy
11:24 PM 1/26/05
Where once the words would flow so freely
Today there is nothing, it's hollow...empty
Where has it gone, my inspiration?
Will I ever write again? Am I done?
I picked up a pencil, and nothing came out
What's going on, why the mental drought?
I'm usually able to write so many lines
With each passing day, my level of happiness declines
I need to write, this is my release
This is my passion, I cannot simply cease
It must not end now, this is what I live for
This can't be the end, there has to be something more...

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
Ahhhh...The horror of writer's block...If you know what I mean, you know how much it sucks...Every so often it happens to me for a couple of days...or even weeks...
