Back when Rock & Roll truly was Rock and fucking Roll...
There was Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The ZZ Tops, Black Sabbath...
So many...
The true rockstars...
So if you truly love me...
Take me back in time...
Take me away from this shitty era...
Take me where the real true rock stars really rocked the mic!!!
Take me away from all these classifications...
Take me away from what's supposedly punk...
What's supposedly emo...
What's supposedly poser-ish or not...
Take me back in time where the funk was truly alive...
Take me back in time...
Let me meet the legendary Jim Morrison...
Let me run my fingers through his lovely hair...
Let me sway my body to his voice...
Let me meet my rockstars...
Let me see what I can't have...
I want the true rock and roll...
No punk, no emo, no poser bullshit...
Give me my true rocking, fucking roll...
And I promise I'll love you forever... |
