» Poem: Decieving Angel
Decieving Angel
written by MissMatchClash

Why can't you look at me?
Why can't you talk to me?
Why is it that you want to hurt me?
You told me something, and I believed you.
I gave myself to you.
And you know what...
You hurt me, because all you said was a lie.

As shy as you may seem or be,
It will get you nowhere.
I see what your doing.
And that, my friend, is killing yourself
Slowly, yet softly, so as to seem you weren't.
But I know.
Stop denying it.
That's not your escape.
It's your death from the world your too scared to enter.

Your face is that of an angel.
A decieving one at that.
Your lovely blond locks.
Your brilliantly blue eyes.
Full, pouty lips...
Than, absurdly placed on your masterpiece-like face,
A small piercing of a black ball.
Right beneath those lovely lips.
A decieving angel is what you are.

But, for once, I won't open my mouth.
I won't help you.
Your path that you have chosen to take is reckless.
It's doomed to failure.
You'll just have to take it.
Maybe it will be another mistake.
Or your doom...
For you can only become a prisoner to it.

But, I wish you luck.
