i promised

i promised my heart that i would protect it.
never letting it get broken again.
never let it out of its place and give it away.
i promised my eyes that i wouldn't let them cry.
not over no guy.
i promised my feelings that i wouldn't let them get carried away.
stay hidden in my thoughts.
let no one near them.
so much for these promises..
oh great, here i go again... |
