» Poem: Slaves
Slaves
written by DarkWing_Unicorn

There was once a feeling
Called joy;
There was once a rule
Called justice-
Now
Everything's quiet;
The land was empty,
A desert of tears.
Some should never have come here
They would never have ended
Their lives here.
This is a hopeless work
Of a wasted life.
Fly away
Before it's too late.
Ascension,
We dare to take action
Without discussion.
There's nothing left,
But empty tornment.
It's inhabitants are
Only questions,
That were left behind
By victims.
Will we ever dare?
Will we ever care?
One's life does not depend
On a rule-
It depends on his/her own rule.
We are
What we choose to be;
You choose
Pain,
Or Redemption.
