The Sleeper
written by DarkWing_Unicorn05:20 PM 1/28/05I will not give up again,
I will not be blind again.
For many centuries
I was dead,
For I were forgotten.
I sleeped through generations,
I saw all abominations,
I saw all beauty.
It is a strange enigma
To live;
It is a strange secret
To sleep.
My body is hidden
From the knowing;
My exile from the world
Makes my masquerade become
Complete.
I am aware of thy thoughts,
Seen all thy visions.
Like a game,
Mirages are put together
Creating a simple,but rude
Asylum.
How can one separate
Black from white?
We shall all become
Absolute.
In the Beginning
Was Nothing,
And in the End
Shall remain nothing.
If life goes on like this
All shall end,
And who knows
When will darkness end.
I've seen so many things,
I've experienced so many histories,
I've achieved so many.
But yet...
T'is not enough;
Not enough for them.
I returned to my hybernation;
I will remain petrified in my sleep,
Until the time will come.
I will not answer to any call,
Except
The Horn of Gaia;
Only it's pure sounds,vibrations
Can awaken me.
Until then I will reman cold
For all of time. |
