Controversial Euphony
written by EbonySeraph09:25 PM 1/28/05-We plunge towards the darkness, let it swallow us in it's velvet embrace...your words are unneeded assurance that the fall from grace would hurt less if I spread my wings...
-Like Venus to honey, dripping slowly onto parched lips, you are to me the blanket to smother the fire...I fear not of the coming day, for if you are beside me,
I shall always be at one...
-You have given unto me the tainted wine, and have I drunk, I wonder?
The sanguinary urge to fill my veins with crimson elixir...A vampire Peter Pan, and I wonder, shall I age?
-It has been forever since the harshest rays of the sun have touched my uplifted face, reflecting such desires as to possess a glowing halo...
now I am on my knees to pray..Any God will do, perhaps one to redeem me of my sins...
-In the simplest of pleasures lay what I feel so strongly for, wanting and yearning to become one with something real...
I hold my arms out and drop, the rush of wind catching clothing and torn dreams. Falling seems so much simpler when one forgets to hit the ground...
-And now, if it is going to rain, I hope it rains on me...There will always be shelter from the storm, though never shelter from myself..
All I have left are these thoughts of you, and like Medusa with a warning, they are dashed to cold concrete ...
buried under rubble so thick I can hardly see the ground...
-My wings, they do not fit me, and now this fall from grace be quick, I beg of thee,
for mourning is much worse than morning...I hold in my hands the key to my heart and if you were to break it, it would never fit again...
Turning wine into water and water into absinthe, I now bid thee ado and wait for a sign...
-Anything for you...with waiting arms, I hold myself unto the light and then I am rejected, faithless and without muse,
if there was anything for me to live for, may it be you... - |
