» Poem: My last breath
My last breath
written by piperneedshelp
02:59 AM 1/29/05
breath in, breath out
tell me what its all about
calm down, take a deep breath
explain to me whats wrong
i promise i'll be strong
i see the look on your face
and i try to become iorn-clad
i think i know whats wrong
what the reason is to why you're tear stained
and here it comes, the news i dont want to hear
i promise i'll be strong
just tell me now
before i change my mind
you open your mouth, "there's been an accident"
more tears come to your already wet face
"your mother is dead," you finish softly
it hits me like bricks
but i cant have any emotion yet
its too soon, i'm in shock
but soon i comprehend what you said
and the tears come to my face
