whisper

i'm falling, and i can feel myself
please catch me before i hit the ground
make your presence known to me
i dont want the fear to take over
the truth is though, you arent there
i know you arent
but i have to get over it now
all the pain...its just going to go away
i reason with it and it subsides
i can now breath, slightly
but there just is too much
i gently close my eyes
but not my sences come back
somehow i know that this cant end like this
somehow i must get over the pain
i will it further from my mind
but i still cant open my eyes
then i hear you, whispering
you are next to me, telling me to hold on
i open my eyes slightly and see your face
you whisper those three words i long to hear
right before my last breath leaves my body |
