Nightmare

Yelling and screaming
My eyes rip open
Because of you
The night is still young
I need more sleep
I flip over
The covers rise up
And cold sneaks in
It sends shivers up my spin
I grab sat the covers
Trying desperately to get warm
I lay still
Close my eyes
But I'm still cursed
You've got me thrashing against an invisible forces
I must not give in
You can't control me anymore
You never could
You may have thought you knew me
But there was so much more behind these eyes
And so much more to this nightmare |
