Inevitable Odium

I hate you so much, and pray,
To the nonexistent greater,
That you get my message:
I hate you
You have killed so many wonderful things,
Shed this black blood that smeared the floor,
Brought upon your own ruin,
Because you were selfish,
And accepted
That which was so lovely,
But was still bound to steal your soul.
I sit there whispering through painful screams,
I hate you.
But who?
Who could I be talking to?
Who do I hate so?
Is it the one who I sold my heart to?
Is it my unnatural blood connection?
Is it the friend, the shoulder I lean on?
Is it the maternal or paternal that abandoned even their titles?
Or is it that which is not there,
Yet I still scream my pain to Him?
I look around to find out whom,
And until I turn and see the reflection
Do I understand who it is I say this to,
And all I can do, is allow with my tears,
The simple words, I hate you. |

Not much to say about this poem other then it is how I feel everday lately. I find myself just saying outloud 'I hate you', sometimes just a whisper. It took me a while to realize who I was saying it to though...Let me know what you think please.
