Life is a Prison(My version)
written by boom_boom1309:12 AM 1/29/05Life is a prison, please let me out.
Behind these dark bars there is no one to hear you when you shout.
Climb the walls as much as you can,
But plummet back down.
Drown in your childhood nightmares,
And suffocate out loud.
Falling into darkness,
Feeling cold as it envelopes you,
Having nowhere to hide,
Having nothing to do.
Clawing at your throat to let out a silent scream,
You grab the air to hold on to the unseen.
Life is a prison, so please let me out.
Even if the gates open, there's no one to hear you shout. |
