These are the sounds...

A shattered cry.
These are the sounds.
Of my sweet lullaby.
A husband, now dead.
A new widow that weeps.
These are the sounds.
That rock me to sleep.
People that scream.
People that fight.
These are the sounds.
That fill my night.
Blood that drips.
An infant that screams.
These are the sounds.
That fill my dreams..... |
