A Single Petal
written by boom_boom1310:06 AM 1/30/05He loves me, he loves me not.
He loves me, he loves me not.
When will this ever end?
My love is too big to send
In an envolope,
By a dove,
Or by the roar of the sea.
By the moonlight,
By stars,
Or even with my heart's key.
So I lay here in the field,
Dressed in white,
Plucking petals off a rose,
To remember your face so bright.
He loves me, he loves me not.
He loves me, he loves me not.
He loves me.
If this last petal were telling thr truth,
I hope we spend most of our lifetime together in youth.
But if it's not, which is why I am scared,
Then I wouldn't know what to do, because I really care.
Even if I walk in your shadow,
I'll be proud too,
Because I'd do anything for you.
So sweet single petal,
Do me good.
Because I need you now,
Because I don't want to be misunderstood. |
