FINGERPAINTING WITH FIRE (pls read+cmnt)

I fingerpaint with fire
and sear the flesh of my fingertips
as I smear the red and orange
across the burning landscape.
I smell the rich hot crayon scent
of the sky bleeding into the earth
melting the sweet grass like wax
into an oozing puddle of greens
I scoop this dripping mass
And roll it in my soft hands
packing it into the firm sphere
that is the Earth.
