» Poem: Mist Castle of Pearls
Mist Castle of Pearls

In that sky,
All that will ever be,
In my glass spun menagerie.

There's truths so deep, the
clouds bleed for them.

Clouds ache, rains fall,
Clouds collide, heavens erupt.

In the sweetness of their symphony,
Nothing but black pearls,
And white roses line the ground,
Leading to that endless mist.

Castle of dew-
That if you see too quickly,
Or gaze too fiercely upon,
Will shatter as ice upon the spoon.

The castle halls that lead to,
Eternity- corridors of frozen time,
Misty beginnings, misty ends.

There are spires of ice,
blackened by night.
White lilac gargoyles,
Stand strangely inviting.

Rain bounces from their eyelids,
Plummets to the damp grounds.
Surrounding their highness,
The Castle of Pearls.
