Keeping You Alive

That it would only take a little longer-
To have patience, that some things take time,
But they did not listen.
I told them it is hard,
That there are things they just couldn't understand,
But they thought they knew,
They thought they could fix it.
Now they think it's fine-
That they can go to your soil home,
And claw upon the concrete,
Until you're back again.
But they didn't listen,
And now they never can. |
