I Need to Scream I Need To Shout!

I haven't been there for a while
In person maybe, but in spirit I’m alone
I've hardly cracked a smile
Wandering in the street
It just crumbles and burns
Looking for someone to meet
True happiness is what I yearn
Sat at my window
Reminiscing, I can feel her
Trying not to let it show
I want things to be the way they were
If I could be who you wanted me to be
All the time!
Maybe I wish I were contented
If what I wanted was mine.
She tasted like the real thing
But it was fake
I can't help my feelings
Through my heart like a stake
It brings me down
It wears me out
My heads in the sink, starting to drown
