You're Never Lost
written by Dhirsti11:56 AM 2/1/05| running to your arms in the dense of the forest. seeing your smiling face gently hidden between the trees. calling out your name and i run, laughing and crying. over fallen logs and forest plants i run. i stumble but do not fall. every drop of my body calls out to you, to receive your warmth and love. your eyes are shining with a mysterious glow that sends your love to me with the help of the night air that blows it my way. i reach the spot where you stood. collapsing, i realize you are gone. i find not a trace where you were or a footprint. but somewhere i catch your smile in the fading light and i know i haven't lost you. |
