» Poem: Slipping Through
Slipping Through
written by Dhirsti
12:13 PM 2/1/05
there's so many words that i can't say
when i look into your eyes
maybe you'll reject me
and shatter my self pride
each day my love for you grows stronger
but i won't let you know
there's way too much behind my smile
that i can never show
i'd hold you for a lifetime
if you'd only take my hand
by my time with you grows shorter
slipping thru my fingers like the sand
so i'll dream of us together
of how good it could be
and i will keep the secret love
that you could have had with me
