Storm
written by Dhirsti12:40 PM 2/1/05as i looked across the water
with waves lapping at my feet
i saw shades of yellow red and pink
across the summer sky.
then the sky turned dark
and the stars above shown bright
my heart felt as light as air.
as the wind began to blow
i turned and walked away
with not a single look back
at what i had left
but only to what was ahead of me. |
