» Poem: Payback
Payback
written by Dhirsti

At one time in my life
I needed you so
I lived for your smile
I longed for your touch
Although my heart would melt
At the sound of your voice
When I looked in your eyes
My heart would rejoice
Your laugh made me happy
Your tears made me blue
You said that you loved me
And I thought it was true
Then something came between us
Time bent your smile
Your face left my dreams
But the pain stayed awhile
I will always love you
And remember what we had
But you're a sorry bastard
And you hurt me real bad
I know you think it's funny
But time will only tell
Paybacks are a bitch
And I hope you burn in hell
You were a great lover
I'll have to admit
But when it comes to being a man
Honey you aren't shit.
