Two Faces

but in tremendous pain
my love is a secret
i'm in constant pain
i'm wearing a smile in the public eye
and when i break down noone knows why
i'm living in fear from those that i love
i'm torn so i ask for help from the man above
we're not the same kind
however we fell at the same time
and because of that
they say he could never be mine
i want to walk out this door
who am i living for?
i can't do this anymore!
side two: i enter i smile
i let go of the fears
i look into those eyes
and he wipes away those tears
i'm in constant bliss
the sweetest kiss
moments like this
i don't want to miss
my heart finds its peace
and its sweet release
while my mind is racing
trying to find a way
to escape t this heaven
for another day
they say it won't last
we hold a strong past
god i pray you understand me
i hope you accept we
please defend me
can't they see what i see?
is this by choice
lend me your voice
or set his heart free
if it was never to be |
