» Poem: Fools Game
Fools Game
written by Dhirsti

where does it come from
this feeling i have inside?
if it's really love
then why do i have to hide?

how do i know it's real?
or if it's just fake?
when i see you
is it love that we make?

when i touch you
i feel
when i miss you
i want
when i kiss you
i reel
when i miss you
you haunt

and when will it end?
this fools game that we play
for no matter what
i'll want you to stay

and the time will come
when we must part
the memories will linger
for you're in my heart

but years down the road
as time goes by
when i see you again
will you want to fly?

i don't want you to lie
i don't want you to cheat
i want what is real
not make believe heat

for my heart is involved
and my mind as well
and if you're playing me off
i'll burn you in hell

for i've been down that road
one to many times
and that's not how i am
spouting off rhymes

what i say is real
what i do is true
i'm not lying when i say
what i feel for you
