Please Turn Away

is it something i have done?
or is it all in you
since i'm leaving now you'll run?
how selfish your reasons for being here
with me and not with her
yet you make the choice so consciously
and these feelings inside me stir
i know it's going to hurt me
the day when i turn away
i know i won't see you anymore
no more games to play
and when i return it'll kill me inside
to know i won't see your face
but it's for the best.. please say yes
for my own good please give me space
i know i'll cry , i know i'll plead
but don't give in so fast
i need this time to be on my own
and not relive the past
so if you see me don't say hi
don't say anything at all
it may seem cold and hurtful
but it'll help me not to fall |
