My Angel's Teardrops

Once careless and free,
Flew into the clouds
And lost touch with me.
Your tears were cold and wet,
Falling on my face.
Your smile,
Had left me without a trace.
Your angelic lips quivered,
Frozen and scared,
I felt rain clouds visiting,
And had to prepare.
I knew that angels,
Often content,
Were very special presents
That God had sent.
Sitting here remembering when
I saw the beauty.
Rush out like a might wind
I never saw it before
Or bothered to notice
But now I see it
And on it I am focused.
Your beautiful,
So very beautiful
Just like a winter's
Shining landscape,
As delicate as dew on
The petals of a daisy,
And as freely as the eagle
Soaring against the blue.
Your eyes are as
Mysterious as the calm sea
Everything about you
Is so very precious,
More precious than
All the gems in the world.
Your soul is the essence
Of the sky and earth,
Your feelings are a
Volcano that is yet to explode
Your smile is the smile
Of lost innocence.
Pain vibrates deep inside
Of your gentle heart.
A lock shuts in
The disturbed thoughts of your mind,
A mind with as many roads
As the world has.
To see you so sad,
So afraid,
So alone,
Had made me weep
While the cold winds had blown.
Your wings lost feathers,
Comforting and soft,
Falling from the stars,
Floating aloft.
Your pain was felt
Throughout the land,
To feel true misery
Is impossible to stand.
I look at you and
I see a pure truth,
Like looking at
A clear night sky,
Millions of stars
Twinkle within you.
The gentleness of your voice
The way you make me feel
When I see your lovely smile.
The way you laughed
And care for others
Even go beyond the extra mile.
I am focused on that
Whether you believe me or not
My heart aches for you
And my stomach is in knots.
Now I had to declare,
The thoughts of my heart.
In hopes that you'd give me,
A place in your heart
I prayed so that
When your hurting stops,
I'll be able to taste
My angel's teardrops. |
