Where I Am Lost

Where have I been
Somewhere in the back of my mind
Is the girl that I cannot find
She's the essence of my soul
She's the life that keeps me driven
She's the warmth that pours from my viens
And she's dying now, from my pain
Where are you
Where did you go
Away on to another party
And I know you're not thinking about me
You're the hurt that's killing me (it's killing me)
You're the defeat that makes me fall
You're the cold that blankets me at night
And you've come back to me, to do me in
Where are you mind
Where can I find you
Or are you lost forever
But I will never say ever
It's the fantasy that makes me, me
It's the dream that shows me happiness
It's a goal I've been reaching for
But never can, ever get to know
Where am I
Where have I been
Somewhere in the back of my mind
Is the girl that I cannot find
And you you are there to laugh |
