» Poem: winter picnic
winter picnic
written by trina
08:29 PM 2/1/05
we had a picnic
one winter's day
we had such fun,
it seemed like may.

we had cracker and
cheese on paper plates;
popcorn and apples,raisins and dates.

under the table
covered with sheets
we made a cave.
with blankets for seats

outside the house
the snow was cold,
but under the talbe, snug and warm, we
had our picnic
out if the storm
