The Bloody Crown
written by boom_boom1312:04 AM 2/2/05The king sits high in his throne,
Nobody beside him, all so alone.
People bow down, but he doesn't see why;
If he doesn't have a queen, then was his life just a lie?
He secretly cries deep into the night,
Wishing his soul would leave and take flight.
Nobody to guide him,
Nobody to care,
Nobday to talk to,
Nobody to share
His darkest secrets, kept inside him,
And all this time his light grows dim.
Thinking of nothing, just thinking of life,
He wishes that he had a loving wife.
But to late to tell him, that I really care,
He cuts his throat, and I cry with despair.
He falls to the floor, and his hands drop with no movement,
I kneel by his side and try to help him, but with no improvement.
I lay on the floor, my life, too, falling down,
And I share my blood with his on his bloody crown. |
