To Young To Say I Love You

They think they should marry,
They think together they should die.
But before they roll the dice,
They need to think twice:
They need to think about what they do
Before they mutter the words, "I love you."
It isn't a game that should be played,
It it's something that should stay,
But they choose to ignore and go their way,
Not knowing that their hearts will be broken someday.
They are too young to say I love you,
The are too young to watch the things they do,
They are too young to hear what they say,
They are too young to think what'll happen the very next day.
A month later a young girl, and a young guy,
Crying at home,
A young girl and a young guy,
Hanging up the phone.
A young girl and a young guy,
They don't know what to do,
The young broken heart teens
Didn't know what they were saying when they said
"I love you." |
