light

And since I ‘v been in the dark all this time,
When I step outside and look into the light
I’m blinded.
Blinded by the whole world.
The cold and dark that has been inflected on me
Has changed my whole prospective.
I was happy and was optimistic a lot,
But now I can’t find any of the good.
I just want to stay here with myself.
I just want to stay in the dark,
But I’m forced to step into the light.
I’m forced to burn myself
With the pain of all humanity.
Locked in the box that
No one ever tries to open
B/c they don’t want to see the true colors of the world. |
