Throwing Pennies, Skipping Stones
written by EbonySeraph08:00 PM 2/2/05Your wings will not fit, your halo not shine.
You will be given not one life, but nine.
Like cats, landing on soft feet you walk through my mind without skipping a beat.
Remember the golden rule, golden jewel, don't bite the hand that feeds till you yourself are fed, better dead instead...
Write your note in red...rivers like blood coagulating without reason, rhyming season...legal age, all the rage, buy some crack cocaine if paid...enough...to feed your starving children...
I see it unfit to describe myself to you, imbibe myself with you...
Read on and discover there is nothing under the cover but more pages to unravel...skipping stones like throwing pennies...waiting for the bus in sleet and colder than the dead, you wish you had somewhere else to go but you end up here instead....
Welcome to the harvest
Syrup dripping through cracked teeth
I always believed your lies were
Somewhat incomplete
Now we stand here and do nothing
Waiting for the honey to melt onto laps of
Virgin girls we barely know and I am
Fascinated by your ability to make me
Something I am not |
