» Poem: A Slight Shift In Souls
A Slight Shift In Souls
written by EbonySeraph
08:04 PM 2/2/05
A slight
Shifting in souls
Reminds me that
You said you would call
I'm...
(I'm waiting)
Cold, wrapped in blankets
And shivering
Waiting for release
Nothing is quite
As real as when...
(We make limitations to play on our underachievement's)
I am sitting
Silent
Unobservant
I let everything go through me
Call to me...
(Whatever you say won't phase me at all)
And let me know I am alive...

This slight shifting in souls
Has left scars
Down my back
And in my mind
I still can't believe...
(I can't believe it's over...)
