Fantasy
written by elfish8809:37 PM 2/2/05The malignant mountain troll, with his shaggy head of musty mold;
Pretty pixies with perfect pink skin-
White witches who live in the whispering willows.
There is nothing in this forest world lacking in the flow of enchantment.
An ordinary fruit fly is a flying fuschia frenzy, freefalling through furry green fountains of forest green leaves.
The small spider you may encounter in a dark corner of your dark room is a swirling sapphire storm that sets the sun in a scarlet sensation.
The chirping bird outside your window, calling to its crimson comrades, cooing, crying, kicking, flying;
Hooveless horses with hazel hair,
Opaque old owls in organic oaks.
This land it foreign, hidden to most,
Located near a star strewn coast.
In your dreams this land shall dwell,
an unseen story time may tell.
Think of it often in the depths of night,
Let it fill you with it's dazzling light. |

I wrote this for the little girls in my cabin when I worked at summer camp. They got a kick out of it!
