Lonely Dark Night(re-written)
written by *~*Kennedy*~*
05:18 AM 2/3/05
I set outside in this lonely dark night
Wondering how tomorrow Ill say goodbye
Picking the petals off this black rose
How much I love you youll never know
I wonder if youll think of me when Im gone
Or just forget me and carry on

I dont have a chance,I see that now
What was I thinking,Ive got to get out
I cant sit here and watch you with her
Its a lost cause for me to be here
All I wanted was to hold you near

As I stare at the moon lost in deep thought
Trying not to think about losing what Ive got
I see your face painted in the night sky
Then wipe away the tears as I cry
Nothing will change, itll always be the same
And I see no point in me staying in pain

So as I sit here cold and alone
With a newly broken heart
Thats heavy as stone
Ill whisper I love you one last time
Perhaps in another life youll be mine
