» Poem: Reasons Why
Reasons Why
written by Misery

Drew Boyer
just another boy
different from some
the same as many
but no body knows of everything he gave
he gave up half his life to fight
to fight for things that we believe to be wrong or right
we try to find reasons why that these people truly died

Drew like many joined the army
he joined the army to help pay for school
joined the army to help others all around
he joined the army to fight for the things that were done
Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, weapons of mass destruction, and terrorists
because of this
apart of his life was missed
gave up half his life for his country
we try to find reasons why that these people truly died

instead of playing hockey games, and hanging out with friends
this nation was what he was to defend
he built base camps
learned routines he'd never forget, and how to follow other maps
he travels everyday
and part of it's all the same
he sees things with his eyes that would terrify
and why
we try to find reasons why that these people truly died

he's helping to rebuild
rebuild the towns and government of another country
he's there where any minute something horrific could happen
he took the risk of dying
to serve his own country
he could have died
ad then we'd all be asking why
he's in a place whree he's hated, and discrimated, while there the arabians are at there homes
and there they aren't hated, but they're hated worldwide
we try to find reasons why that these people truly died

suicide bombers
death everyday
all in different ways
but in a way their deaths are the same
these people died to defend what they believed
and now these facts are what we are faced to see
we'll nver really know all the reasons why
and the reasons why the world lost so mny lives
we try to find reasons why that these people truly died...
