Bleed Me To Death
written by Panic09:57 AM 2/3/05My wounds open again
Under the pressure of my knife
My self inflicted punishment
For crimes I can't account for
Please forgive me for what I'm about to do
But I can't repay my debt to humanity
So I'll let this knife bleed me to death
Please, please understand
But I can't go on another day
Faced with the criticism and paranoia
I've got to escape
Through my falling drops of crimson blood
I see my punishment fulfilled
Now I'm lying in a pool of my life
My heart too tired to keep beating
My soul too weary to feel anything
And my hand to weak to bleed me to death
I'm bleeding, dying, and at last I feel relief
For through my pain I appeased my conscience
And now I can sleep one last restful sleep |
