» Poem: Alone
Alone
written by Panic
10:00 AM 2/3/05
What would it take to make you love the wretched soul I call my own?
I know that what I have to give pales beside what you mean to me
You fill my dreams and fantasies
You haunt my thoughts
I can't help but think of you even if I try not to
If I sleep at all it is only to dream of you
I'm living off my imagined love
I'm surviving off a touch I've never felt
My soul is nourished through the words you've never spoken
I don't want to wake up
Because when I do I won't be able to deny that I'm alone
